[Chapter-delegates] WTDC-22: WTDC Background paper

Dear Colleagues,

We are coming close to the World Telecommunications Development Conference (WTDC), where stakeholders from around the world will set the agenda for discussions on closing the digital divide and digital transformation for the next four years.

After being postponed due to the ongoing pandemic in 2021, the meeting is set to happen in Kigali, Rwanda, between 6-16 of June. Following our ongoing work in the Regional Preparatory Meetings, we have prepared a Background paper with useful information about WTDC-22, stakeholders attending, a summary of activities and our focus areas, among other topics.

We would value your input about the paper. The final version of the document will be later shared in the WTDC page on our website, alongside other useful materials that will help you support our call for governments to connect the unconnected.
