I think there are only Bahrain from last year and Qatar from two months ago among the chapters of Internet Society GCC. I am not sure if there is another ISOC chapter in the rest of the Gulf countries. Yet forming an ISOC chapter in Saudi Arabia now is enhancing the Internet Society mission. Later they can start an individual regional Internet Society GCC, apart from the Middle East!

I guess they should work on forming a working committee in order to must be given the license to start up a new chapter, also must include women and focus on gender diversity.

At the end I would love to say all thanks to the Founder and spiritual father of ISOC-Yemen Chapter and Member of the Global Internet Society's Board of Trustees, Dr. Walid Alsaqaf, who brought the license to Yemen in August 2013 and made us among the early chapters in middle east!
