[Chapter-delegates] Chapters in the Fediverse?

Season's Greetings !

WIth the upheaval at Twitter, many are taking the plunge into the
decentralized social network, Mastodon.

There are plenty of public Mastodon instances available, this can help you
pick one for personal or Chapter usehttps://instances.social/ - it is
possible to switch servers easily at any time, bring your follows/followers
with you, but your posts will only be available on the old server (they can
be downloaded as an archive).

It is worth considering for a Chapter with the requisite resources to set
up their own instance for the benefit of their members. One advantage of
this is that 'local' feed will be only posts and boosted from your members,
and the 'federated' feed will be what your members collectively follow.
