Thanks to the opportunity to express our youth initiatives. Our Internet
Society Puerto Rico Chapter created the first ISOCPR Student Chapter with
the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus. At this
time, we have two more student chapters with the following universities:
EDP University, Hato Rey Campus, and University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón
Campus.
ISOCPR Inter American Student Chapter, in collaboration with the members of
ISOCPR, offered webinars in the areas of Intellectual Propert and,
Ecosystems Internet to our students. Also, virtual workshops were offered
on topics on the use of smartphones, robots, security in your bank accounts
aimed at older adults. Our students participated in the celebration of
Internet Day in Puerto Rico and the February activity: Falling in love
with the Internet,
We hope to unite different academies and schools in order to reduce the gap
and digital literacy with our board of directors.
