[Chapter-delegates] What should ISOC's future goals be? How can we work toward achieving them as ISOC Chapters?

I agree with you, you shouldn't break the law!! I don't want to comment 
on Alan's words, as I don't know what else he might have said.

It doesn't need to move to Switzerland; there are plenty of US-based 
NGOs, with the same tax status as ISOC, which are doing amazing work, 
including in Internet-related issues, around the world. Since you asked 
for suggestions, here's one - perhaps it would be good for ISOC, instead 
of paying $$$ to lawyers, to go an talk to them, and find out how they 
do it?

However, I want to note that this conversation was started by two 
Trustees, elected by chapters, who were soliciting information from the 
chapters, and not from the CEO. When you start to respond, you are 
driving the conversation in another direction, and I am not sure if some 
chapters won't prefer to stay quiet, or perhaps reach out to George and 
Muhammad in private emails, so that they avoid any impression of 
confrontation with the CEO? Also, in some cultures it's not polite to 
confront someone, who is in a senior position like yourself.
