[Chapter-delegates] What should ISOC's future goals be? How can we work toward achieving them as ISOC Chapters?

Thanks for this initiative to engage us.
There are different challenges that different Chapters face and
sometimes it will be useful if better communication can be established
between the Chapter leaders and the ISOC Board.
In our part of the world, some governments think or see the Internet as
a challenge to their power, while others think the Chapters are
competing with their ministry of telecommunication, etc. and they should
manage the chapter, IGF, and any other IT related issues.
Therefore I think we should acknowledge the different challenges face. I
can cite many examples, but at the moment I will leave it in general
terms. We will submit specific issues with some specific problems we are
facing in a different format. Thanks.
