What horrible messages coming from Mr. Akash Bhardwaj.
As a former Ambassador, like my colleague Abdias, I am also concerned and
hope that the ISOC team will be able to assist him as they were so quick to
withdraw his self-identification.
We must also not forget the attitudes of the far-right government towards
the Kashmir region, which leaves this part of the country constantly without
Internet access
<https://www.accessnow.org/keepiton-global-rights-groups-urgently-demand-restoration-of-4g-internet-access-in-jammu-and-kashmir/>,
especially in pandemic times, where the Internet is a lifeline
<https://www.internetsociety.org/impact-report/2020/>, like our own
organization announces.
Best,
Luã
