My advice is remove the individual from the course, ask him to cite his country correctly in future.
This is absolute shame on part of ISOC to allow such malicious 'youth ambassadors'.
Secondly I am escalating this fellow to the Cyber police in Kashmir, they need to have a talk with him and proactively nip any potential terrorist upbringing in the bud!
If you dont agree with my suggestions, I am happy step away and will not be associated with ISOC or any Chapter in future from today.

He is still anti-national. It is a shame how radical elements like him are accepted who continue to suck the nation and spread divisive thinking using international forums like this. He has studied using the Indian system and obviously all education is subsidized by the Government of India, then he has lived and grown up here which means he has had the privilege of being a recipient of various subsidies and schemes (both visible and non-visible).
After all this he has the gall to say Indian Administered Kashmir shows his militant and radical leaning and when he says he wants to establish “Internet Literacy” at school level one becomes hugely suspicious about his intentions as this (certainly) means indoctrination.
I sincerely hope that ISOC is not open to having radicals who have indoctrination as their hidden agenda. And for the moment I am not even touching on his religion which makes him a perfect candidate to be called a passive militant.
Just removing the words from under his name and not substituting it with the name of the country which passport he carries demonstrates (obviously) his divisive and extremist mindset. Scratch the surface and you will find him to be militant to the core – and believe me when I say there are many such ungrateful pigs in the country who must be stopped from sullying the agenda of a body like yours.
Please see the attached grab from your website – the dirty tricks department of an extremist thinking has surfaced. It will surely not be in the interest of ISOC to see an escalation of the membership of an extremist radical in the media or other forums.

Ms. Prieto,
I have strong objection to one IGF candidate shown as being from (country) Kashmir, he cites 'Indian Administered Kashmir'.
Has anyone from ISOC done a check on him? What passport or ID did he share? Kashmir ID or Indian ID?
I would just reject such fellows, on falsifying identities and untrustworthy, if only we had better rules of selection in ISOC.
Please note: The state of Jammu Kashmir was, is and has always been part of India.
Rectify and resolve this blunder ASAP.
I am sure if some US citizen mentioned being from New York from American Administered State - would that be acceptable?
Waiting for some immediate action,
Dr. Akashdeep Bhardwaj

Dear Chapter and SIG Leaders,
We are excited to let you know that we are welcoming our 2021 cohort of IGF Youth Ambassadors!
These 30 talented individuals will embark on a combination of trainings, mentorship, and partner-led sessions. They will be well equipped to virtually participate at the 2021 IGF and launch initiatives to grow and strengthen the Internet.
We had a great pool of IGF Youth Ambassador candidates and the Selection Committee (some of you!) had a tough time choosing our final 2021 IGF Youth Ambassadors. But we are certain that we selected a fierce bunch of future Internet champions who will be capable of building, promoting and defending an Internet that is open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.
We can't wait for you to meet the 2021 IGF Youth Ambassadors !!
Please, if you want to personally meet those in your country/region and engage them in your Chapter/SIG activates, let us know. We would be honored to facilitate introductions.
Thank you very much to those of you who helped us select them!
