As the facts point it out - if the other two groups, electing Trustees,
were paying as much attention to diversity, as the chapters do, you
would have had today 3 Americans instead of 9 as Trustees.
Not sure what you are trying to prove, except that the chapters are
doing something no other group is?
We also heard about the problems and years of discussions one of these
groups, the IETF, is having in addressing the diversity problem. As for
the organizations, who are ISOC members, we could make an educated guess
that some (many?) of them have even top Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
officials, so does that mean they understand this is an issue, unlike
some of the members of this list from the US?
ISOC is an organization, which claims to be global (it's written on
their website). That should be somehow reflected in its BoT
composition, wouldn't you agree?
OTOH, it would be quite helpful, if you, as a former Trustee appointed
by the IETF, would tell us what in the IETF process of appointing
Trustees make it so hard to find a non-US candidate.
Also, on a related topic - would you mind sharing with us which ISOC
chapter are you affiliated with now?
