  |  On Evolution of Censorship Infrastructure in India. 

   Sambuddho is an Asst Prof. at the Dept. of  CSE  at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Delhi). His research interests are in Network security, anonymity, privacy, anti-censorship, counter-surveillance, network measurements.  

   He will present an overview the evolution of Indian’s Internet censorship infrastructure, how it censors traffic (and now apps.), how various ISPs implement it. Further, he will also present some research efforts on censorship (and also Internet shutdowns/blackouts).

 Anurag Bhatia is a Network Researcher at Hurricane Electric. Hurricane Electric operates a global backbone spread across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. As part of his job he spends time in analysing routing, optimizing routing across thousands of BGP adjacencies and putting tools to monitor it.

 Romain Fontugne is a senior researcher at IIJ Research Lab, Japan, who focuses on Internet measurements, traffic analysis and routing. He holds a PhD. degree in Computer Science from NII/Sokendai University, Tokyo.

 Hanna Kreitem works with the Internet community in the Middle East and North Africa. following a long journey of active promotion of the Internet and Digital Rights in regional and international levels. He is also an experienced trainer designing and delivering training for over 15 years in regions from Asia to North America, with special focus on the Middle East.
