Dear Klaus,
Yes, the working group last year helped us put together a list of items that Chapter leaders / AMS Administrators raised. Your input, and the input of the other members of that group is very much appreciated and most of these points have been addressed in the meantime. We'd be happy to share an overview of these by next week as we indeed did not have the working group meeting in October/November since we were still working through some of the points.
On the other hand, and as discussed in the past, the specific questions you are referring to below are not purely technical in nature but are linked to data privacy considerations.
Please know that the Internet Society is in the process of doing an in-depth legal review of its data privacy policy to come up with a comprehensive approach. The results of this analysis are currently undergoing internal review and will be shared with the Chapter Advisory Council and the wider Chapter leaders community later on in the process.
And, as always, please feel free to reach out to your Regional Community Engagement Manager (this is Nick Hyrka in your case) or me directly if you'd like to further discuss any of these points.
Best,
Christine

Dear Chapter delegates,
its now one year that we [Chapters admins] virtually gathered to discuss about urgently required improvements of membernova. [Anybody out there who can remember?] Some of us invested quite some work in this by tabling viable solutions to pressing issues.
Not only that we don't see any significant improvement of the situation - we also don't have much indication yet, what requirements were accepted, what might be considered, and which were rejected and why. There was some sign of life last July when Christine made some noise wrt some minor improvements of the (purely point and click) user interface - which still provides no option for syncing bulk data.
So the outcome - beside some very generic, not binding promises, and rather simple "improvements" - was negligible.
A final quote from October [after I sent a reminder]: [Christine Saegesser schrieb am 20.10.20 um 09:43:]

leaves me puzzled about the year.
So lets be patient and look forward to the next anniversary in March 2022
Klaus
PS.: My offer still holds: AMS/Membernova can receive from me up-to-date info about legally registered Chapter members in any established data format at any time - as long as its not me who has to compare and feed membership changes one by one by hand into AMS. [Though you probably will do it anyhow]: please don't blame me or the Chapter for outdated data in AMS.
