[Apologies for cross-posting]

Dear Chapter Leaders, Colleagues,

I trust this email finds you well.

This is to let you know that we have completed the mid-year Chapter Performance Evaluations and the results are now final. Your chapter’s mid-year final evaluation status is now available to view in the Chapter portal (AMS)<https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login> under the “Evaluations” tab.

Out of our 122 chapters, 103 are marked as "in Good Standing" and 19 Chapters in “Pre-Rejuvenation” following the evaluations. That is 84% of chapters in “Good Standing” and 16% of chapters in “Pre-Rejuvenation”.

Congratulations for your hard work and resilience!

As announced earlier, given the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic and the additional difficulties this represents for your chapters, this 2021 mid-year chapter performance evaluation will not have an impact on your chapter's standing status (results of the 2020 end-of-year evaluation). This will remain valid until the end of 2021. Please find the detailed presentation of the Chapter Performance Evaluation criteria<https://isoc.box.com/s/3nka69uiqz3p9ytvc198872g39kmytpu> and the guide<https://isoc.box.com/s/xmimoxsro6rtaqjqleptkagh3j9k5kys> for the mid-year evaluations here<https://isoc.box.com/s/n5sxlh5krqm7fk6egg3uf62e754tki4f>.

The goal of this mid-year evaluations was to give both chapter Leaders and Internet Society staff a better understanding of what areas need increased focus and support per chapter for the remainder of the year. We’d like to ensure that a maximum number of chapters are in good standing by the end of the year.

As a reminder, you need to follow the following steps to find your Chapter performance evaluation final results:

  * Log into the chapter management portal (AMS)<https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login>
  * Choose your chapter under "My Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIG)"
Once you're on your Chapter Dashboard, do the following:

  * Click on "My Chapter Profile"
  * Then click on the "Evaluations" tab there
  * Under "Chapter/SIG Evaluations History", look for the "June 2021" round. It shows your chapter’s standing status resulted from this mid-year evaluation. You can click on "View" to see the details.

If the results show that your chapter is "in pre-rejuvenation", this means that it didn't meet at least one of the seven basic criteria for a chapter to be considered as “in good standing”.

Chapters in "pre-rejuvenation" now have three months (i.e. until 30 September 2021) to regain an "in good standing" status (see also the rejuvenation process outlined here<https://www.internetsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ISOC_-Chapter_rejuvenation_process.pdf>). Please reach out to the Community Engagement Manager of your region to work on a plan in that regard, we'd be happy to help.
