[Chapter-delegates] Call for volunteers to Serve on the Internet Society's Board of Trustees' Nominations and Elections Committee (Deadline: 29 Sept 2020)

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to all who expressed an interest in volunteering on one of these committees!

Please make sure you read the volunteer requirements here: https://isoc.box.com/s/25ko40izr1k22wx55b54lnyi7rau2ocv
In this document you will also find a link to a form that needs to be filled in by all interested candidates.

Members of the Chapter Advisory Steering Committee will then analyse the candidatures received and will recommend one name for each committee to the Board of Trustees.
Only candidatures received via the official form before 29 September can be considered by the committee.

Call for Volunteers to Serve on the Internet Society's Board of Trustees' Nominations and Elections Committees

The Internet Society Board of Trustees has requested that the Internet Society Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee (ChAC-SC) recommend one volunteer to serve on the Internet Society's Board of Trustees' Nominations Committee (NomCom) and one volunteer to serve on the Board's Elections Committee for the 2020-2021 nominations and elections cycle.

If you are interested in a volunteer position on either the Board’s Nominations or Elections Committee, please submit your name before 29 September 23:59 UTC.

While Internet Society Board of Trustees serve in the interest of the Internet Society as a whole once appointed to the Board, the Chapters are mandated, as per Article IV of the Internet Society Bylaws<https://www.internetsociety.org/about-internet-society/governance-policies/by-laws/>, to elect Trustees: "Chapters shall have the right to elect Trustees as provided in Article II, Section 1".
