Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina

B. Community of Interest the Chapter will serve
The Chapter primarily serves the Internet community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

C. Purpose and scope of Chapter
Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina serves the Internet Society's purposes by serving the interests of a segment of the global Internet community through a local presence, focusing on local issues and developments.

D. Outline of key priorities for the first year of Chapter
During the first year, our focus will be to promote the next issues:
− Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities
− Human Rights, Gender and ICT
− Green ICT

Communications and interactions would be implemented by regular face to face meeting, online meeting, email correspondence etc.

H. List of requirements
Bosnia and Herzegovina have rules or regulations that must be followed by Non-governmental organizations or citizen societies. The title of Bosnia and Herzegovina need to be use according to the Law on the Use and Protection of the Name of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The following rules are given on the official web page of Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina (http://www.mpr.gov.ba/organizacija_nadleznosti/uprava/registracije/ udruzenja/osnivanje/default.aspx?id=1936&langTag=en-US):

− Natural persons, founders of association can be the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina or foreigners, who have approved residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
− If legal persons want to establish association, they have to be registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
− Founder of association cannot be the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entities, cantons, cities, municipalities, local communities, state authorities, state companies and funds.
− The requester is obliged to attach to the request the proof of payment of the administrative fee for files and actions in certain administrative matter with the Ministry at the time of submitting the request.
− Pursuant to Tariff number 108 of the Law on Administrative Fees (Official Gazette of BiH, 16/02, 19/02, 43/04, 8/06, 76/06, 76/07 and 98/12), the amount of the administrative fee is as follows:
a) request for registration into the register of association BAM 200.00;
b) request for registration into the register of foundations BAM 200.00;
c) request for registration into the register of foreign international associations and foundations and other non-profit organisations BAM 200.00;
d) request for registration of changes into the register of associations and foundations and foreign international associations and foundations and other non-profit organisations BAM 50.00;
e) request for deletion from the register of associations and foundations and foreign international associations and foundations and other non-profit organisations BAM 10.00;
f) request for issuing excerpt from the register BAM 20.00;
g) request for issuing transcription of the decision BAM 20.00.
