FWIW, although I'm from the U.S. I don't consider myself to be a defender
of "U.S. giant companies." Most of my writings over the last several years
have articulated criticisms of those companies, whose flaws I know best.
(You'll find very little from me that's critical of, say, Alibaba or
Tencent, two companies I've hardly studied at all. For the record, I favor
small companies that as market entrants (take Zoom, for example) manage to
compete strongly against the incumbents--because it's not just great for
them but also good for the incumbents when there's competition.)
