No, anyone who was implicated in PIR's business has also always had to recuse from discussions related to PIR, and that would necessarily include anyone who had an interest in PIR's financial position.  I think it is important to note that the Internet Society has now had a straight decade in which at least one Trustee could not participate in discussions related to the largest source of the Internet Society's income.  I don't mind stating in public that, as someone who reports to the Board and is responsible for the sound management of the organization, I find this state of affairs extremely unfortunate.  I would like to think that the Internet Society community would be keen to fix that sort of governance issue.
