Dear Chapter Leaders,
The 2020 ISOC Board of Trustees elections have begun! Electronic ballots
were emailed today to all voting delegates. They will have until Friday,
3 April 2020 at 15:00 UTC to cast their ballots.
In this year’s election cycle, Chapters are asked to elect two (2)
Trustees to the Board. So voting delegates may vote for two of the
candidates on the Chapters slate. All new Trustees will serve three-year
terms commencing in July.
Additional details on the elections can be found here:
https://www.internetsociety.org/board-of-trustees/elections/
As previously announced, today also marks the close of the Chapters
Candidate Forum. Biographical summaries provided by all the candidates
remain available online at:
https://www.internetsociety.org/board-of-trustees/elections/2020/nominees/
We encourage you to engage with your Chapter's voting delegate on the
choices this election presents. If you do not know who the voting
delegate for your Chapter is, do not hesitate to contact Stine
Philipsen, ISOC Chapters and Individual Members Coordinator
(philipsen at isoc.org).
Best regards,
Hiroshi Esaki
2020 Elections Committee Chair
