Please disregard this message. By mistake I forgot to delete Chapter delegate list from this internal staff message. My sincere apologies! Hi team ,
As I always say to my leaders “your concerns are my concerns, and if I can do something to ease your work, I will always do my best”. Having said this, today I decided to do a video explaining the training program so that you can use and share it while you are able to do your sessions. I really don’t want to add stress to your lives, so take advantage of the video and use it as reference. I also added the video to the message that I sent to the community as an option for those who can’t attend the info session on Wednesday 😉.

Big ty to Victor who helped me with my terrible French and the support to improve English message 😊.

Next step for all is to promote the program in your regions and do your info sessions.  Do not hesitate to contact me for any question or support 😉

For the Internet Society, the role that each member play in our community is vital and key to carrying our message of an open, globally-connected, secure and trustworthy Internet for all.

Members bring great value, experience and knowledge to our organization. For this reason, this year we are pleased to announce the Internet Society’s Chapters Training Program<https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/2020-training-program/> - our first engagement and learning program for our Chapter leaders, members. This program focuses on developing and skilling new community leaders who can work together with their respective Chapters to translate the Internet Society 2020 Global action plan<https://www.internetsociety.org/action-plan/2020/> into local projects and activities.

In 2020, the regional Chapter Workshops are an integral part of this training program. The participation in the training program will be one of the eligibility criteria for attending the workshops as Chapter representative or fellow.

Additionally, our Regional Community Engagement Managers will hold calls in their respective regions to explain details of the program.
