Dear Maimouna, George and Ted,

on behalf of ISOC UK England, I would like to congratulate you on your
win and look forward to working with you in forthcoming years. The
Internet Society is faced with many challenges, both internal and
structural, but also external and global, and I hope that you will, as
Board members, seek more engagement with the communities that have been
coming together to place you in the position of responsibility that you
are now taking.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the other
candidates, Satish Babu, Luis Miguel Martinez, Glenn McKnight, Amir
Qayyum and Roberto Zambrana for the Chapters Election and Olivier Alais
and Heather West for the Organisation Members Election. A vibrant
community comes with vibrant elections and a full slate of contenders in
the election, thus providing a wide choice of candidates. The responses
that you provided in the Candidate Forum were all very wise indeed and I
hope that the candidates that were selected will read back these fora as
a starting point to utilize the wisdom that was shared there, and take
the opportunity to work with you and all of us for the benefit of the
Internet Society and the Internet as a whole.
Kindest regards,

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond
ISOC UK England
