- Is the election process not outlined in your Bylaws? The San Francisco 
Bay Area Chapter, for example, has the requirement for a Nominating 
Committee (NomCom) that oversees the election process and must consist 
of at least one person who is not on the Board of Directors (see 
https://www.sfbayisoc.org/election-process/).
