Dear all,

This is an invitation to an informal get-together of Internet Society Chapter & SIG leaders attending ICANN65 in Marrakesh next week. 

If you’re around and interested, you can meet your peers on 26 June from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Terrasse des Oliviers within the Palmeraie Resort. 

This will be an occasion for those of you in Marrakesh to meet, network and connect over a drink. 

Just a little bit of background: Since this is one of the smaller ICANN meetings with a narrower scope, there will be no Internet Society staff on site on this occasion. As communicated earlier this year, we are focusing on engaging our community more broadly around the ICANN meeting in Montreal later this year. However, as suggested by the Chapter Advisory Council, we worked with the local Chapter in Morocco to help facilitate this informal get-together for Internet Society Chapter & SIG leaders attending the Marrakesh meeting.
