Dear Colleagues,
This is to let you know that the results of the first round of Chapter/SIG performance evaluations based on the new criteria are now final in MemberNova.
You can find the results here: Log into MemberNova > Choose your Chapter under "My Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIG)"
Once you're on your Chapter Dashboard, do the following:
- click on "My Chapter Profile”
- then click on the "Evaluations" tab there
- under "Chapter/SIG Evaluations History", look for the "April 2019" round & click on “View"
- this will bring you to the final evaluation report
You will see two tabs for the evaluations:
- The first with the Chapter/SIG Standing Status
- The second with the Chapter/SIG Awards and Badges
Action needed:
Please do check on your Chapter/SIG's evaluation record. According to the evaluation process, Chapters and SIGs now have up to 10 May 2019 to ask staff to re-consider the results before the records are then marked as “completed" (please send an e-mail to chapter-support at iosc.org<mailto:chapter-support at iosc.org> if this is the case).
If your Chapter is marked as "in pre-rejuvenation" in the evaluation record, this means that it didn't meet at least one of the 5 basic criteria for a Chapter to be considered as in good standing. Once the evaluation is marked as "completed", Chapters in pre-rejuvenation will have 3 months to regain an "in good standing status" (see also the rejuvenation process outlined here<https://www.internetsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ISOC_-Chapter_rejuvenation_process.pdf>)
This first round of evaluations will be used as a benchmark and is the first round based on the new criteria and done in our new system. We will now build on this experience, together with the Chapter Advisory Council and the performance evaluation working group, and prepare for the next round towards the end of this year.
The Summary document of all criteria, the (adjusted) timeline, including who updated what, where and by when throughout the process can be found here: https://isoc.box.com/s/aghd6092m5gtphl4e185rtnz62b34uwd

Best,
Christine
