[Chapter-delegates] Nominees for the 2019 Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee

Dear Chapter Leaders,

Your Chapter representatives to the Chapters Advisory Council (ChAC) have nominated the candidates for the 2019 Steering Committee elections.

Nominees can decline the nomination by sending an email to <chapters-ac-elections at isoc.org<mailto:chapters-ac-elections at isoc.org>> stating they do not wish to be a candidate for the Steering Committee elections. Should there be any withdrawals, we will share a final list of candidates ahead of the elections’ opening date.

The election period will open on the 12 November 2018 for 9 days and will close on the 20 November 2018 at 23h59 UTC.

9 seats are available for the Steering Committee. To learn more about the structure of the Steering Committee please see the Chapters AC charter<https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/chapters-advisory-council/charter>.

Candidates will have a chance to present themselves on the Chapter Leaders Community on Connect<https://connect.internetsociety.org/communities/community-home?CommunityKey=a87f0d7b-f5f1-40d2-828d-d1261ddaf7fc>. This is an opportunity for you to get to know your candidates but also to ask them questions in the run up of the elections.

Please let your Chapter’s Advisory Council representative (see list: https://apps.internetsociety.org/form/chapter-representatives) know who your preferred candidates are so that he/she can cast the vote on behalf of your Chapter. The necessary links for the election will be shared with your Chapter AC representatives.
