Please find below an important note concerning your subscription to the Chapter-Delegates list: 

In keeping with the goals and objectives of The Internet Society (“ISOC”), we are committed to the highest degree of respect for the privacy of our members, visitors to our websites, Honorees and participants of the Internet Hall of Fame and attendees of all our events.  

To maintain a relationship with you, keeping you informed of upcoming activities, events, and logistics for our events, we will maintain Your Data (as defined in our Privacy Statement) in our systems. We rely on a “legitimate interests assessment” to maintain and use this information due to your role as Chapter Leader. 

Under these circumstances, we have taken into account your expectations about our use of Your Data and the limited way we will use Your Data, always seeking to maximize your privacy.  Based on your decisions when joining ISOC and your decisions about what role you accept with ISOC, we believe that it is reasonable and expected that we use Your Data for the purposes of communicating with you so you can fulfill your role, including communications about relevant ISOC activities and Internet-related issues.
