Thanks Richard... I wish this www.apig.ch/Gaps%20r1.pdf was available to
many who are now making noises! Hope the update version
http://www.apig.ch/Gaps%20r9%20clean.pdf would gain wider circulation.
This issue is too important to remain an academic discussion. This is a far
fetched link and requires stretched imagination, and might not obvious to
many, in any case here goes: almost 3 decades ago, in Mogadishu, we were
facing a bunch of crazy guys, the international community used words like
violent rascals, etc. The good folks ignored them, while they kept on
growing until the violent rascals (aka Alshabab) destroyed a whole country
and along the way, managed to rewrite history... a la black hawk down,
piracy, etc. etc. - it is better to act and stop in any way possible
whenever we feel legitimate institutions are attacked... and here is clear
case where elections and democracy itself are under attack.... my 2 cents
from Mogadishu... the bad guys win because the good folks are too busy
doing good stuff. ;-)

Regards,
Mohamed
