[Chapter-delegates] WEBCAST TODAY: 2017 Internet Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Number 7 in the 12 streams. I am often asked, like at our recent Workshop
<http://isoc-ny.org/p2/9632>, how to best understand the history of the
Internet. I always say: Check out the Internet Hall of Fame! Apart from the
timeline <https://www.internethalloffame.org/internet-history/timeline> just
watchng the Inductees' acceptance speeches can really give great insight.
Nobody knows it better than the people who did it!  On the 2017 videos, in
particular, I took great pains to ensure the captions are as accurate as
possible, Not always an easy job with some of the non-English speakers!

celebration.
Fourteen people from around the world who have contributed significantly to
the Internet’s inception, evolution and global growth were inducted
Recognized for their groundbreaking contributions to the global Internet,
these inductees comprise some of the world’s most influential engineers,
evangelists, and entrepreneurs. The Ceremony will be re-webcast at *7pm EST*
 today *January 1 2018* via the *Internet Society Livestream Channel*
