Subject: [Chapter-delegates] Announcement of the 2019 Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee election results

(apologies for cross-posting)

Dear colleagues,

As you may know we closed the polls for the 2019 Chapters AC Steering Committee elections on 20 November. We had 9 positions to fill, one for each region and 3 non geographical.

The first person of each region with the most votes is identified as the 'regional representative' and the 'non geographical representatives' are the 3 delegates with the most votes.

It is my pleasure to announce the elected representatives to the Chapters AC Steering Committee 2019:

Regional representatives:

- Europe: Olivier Crepin-Leblond (UK-England Chapter)
- LAC: Elaine Ford (Peru Chapter)
- North America: Susannah Gray (US San Francisco Bay Area Chapter)
- Africa: Lillian Nalwoga (Uganda Chapter)
- APAC: Amrita Choudhury (India Delhi Chapter)
- Middle East: Nabil Bukhalid (Lebanon Chapter)

And the three non-geographical:

- Eduardo Diaz (Puerto Rico Chapter)
- Satish Babu (India Trivandrum Chapter)
- Peter Koch (Germany Chapter)

Congratulations to the incoming Steering Committee!

At the same time, we’d like to thank the outgoing Steering Committee members who volunteered their time and energy over the last year for the work of the Chapter Advisory Council on behalf of all the Chapters.

I also want to take the opportunity to thank John More who, as Nominations and Elections Chair, ensured a smooth election process.

A challenge period is open until 29 November. If no-one challenges the results, the results will be official on 30 November.

Thank you all very much for your commitment and congratulations again.

Christine
