[Chapter-delegates] URGENT - Question about Facebook and GDPR in your respective country

 Here in Turkey Facebook has been, asking their users to agree with the new
Term of Services.

However, I cannot say that it is effective. Two reasons:

1. Turkish parliament enacted a privacy bill last year, just before EP
voted for the GDPR. As such, ostensibly "EU harmonization" is maintained by
this legislation in Turkey, which is just a little better than the 1995
Directive of EU but not even close to GDPR.

2. Awareness or concern among the people at large does not exist, despite
our efforts.
