[Chapter-delegates] Steve Crocker's leaving the ICANN Board

That is such a telling plaudit that underlines the extent of what we all
(Internet users) owe to Steve and also to those other network
technologists who have taken the trouble and care to guide technology,
implementation and policy of the Internet.

Without Steve and his ilk the rest of us would still be living in that
mediated digital tower of babel of the late 80s/ early 90s. We might
yet. Unless others follow his example and commit to take on the mantle.
