Hi everyone,

We would like to share with you information about ‘Global Cyber Challenge - Peace-a-thon’ an initiative by the Indian Government in collaboration with a nonprofit organisation Cyber Peace Foundation (CPF). The initiative is part of activities in the lead up to the GCCS meeting that India is hosting (www.gccs2017.in).

The initiative is a series of activities to spearhead projects to address cyber security challenges in public and private sectors. You can check more details on the event website which also has links for participation in several activities: https://innovate.mygov.in/cyber-challenge/

Being billed as a global event, it seeks to bring together nonprofits, startups, academia and individuals that are involved with cyber security. Some of the identified key problem statements include IOT Security, fake News, protection of navigation technology infrastructure, mitigating public sector cyber cascades, security of digital payments, customer empowerment for digital banking security, technology as a resolve to cyber risks to children, monitoring online sexual abuse against children, honeypots, and online women safety.

Please note that application to participate in most activities end on October 25.
