[Chapter-delegates] Invitation: 25 Years Internet Society German Chapter

Hello Chapter Delegates and everybody who reads this,

this is an invitation to everybody interested to participate in the 25 Years celebration of ISOC.DE. Admitted, if your German is negligible and you don't have a personal Interpreter this might not be much fun. Anyhow this is to let you know, to invite you and to inform you how to apply.

*Information:*

How comes? There haven't been any chapters 25 years ago. In 1992 the Deutsche Interessen-Gemeinschaft Internet e.V. (DIGI e.V.) was launched and became a registered association. The mission was to promote Internet in Germany. The elder ones might remember that by then Internet was highly controversial in Europe. Later in 1995 DIGI e.V. talked to Internet Society and became a chapter. It changed its name and became Internet Society German Chapter e.V. (ISOC.DE e.V.).

*Invitation:*

We will celebrate our birthday on Nov 30th in the premises of the Deutsche Parlamentarische Gesellschaft (which is an association mainly for members of the parlament) in Berlin. Details and program can be found on: https://isoc.de/25 (in German).

*Application:*

Since the event will be in a security sensitive place we need the application 10 days in advance. Please fill in the form on https://isoc.de/25 and have a passport ready for entrance.
