Perhaps a more balanced view?

Subject: [Chapter-delegates] Wiretap laws and Internet governance
Hi all,
The London Internet Exchange (LINX) will try to change its constitution so
as to allow silent compliance with government wiretap orders:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/02/17/linx_snoopers_charger_gagging_order/
LINX would change from being a member-run organisation and its members would
no longer be in a position to challenge wiretap orders in court.
Only meaningful result of post-Snowden disclose of massive human rights
violations is to make bulk collection by intelligence agencies easier as
before.
Regards
