Great draft, however there are huge land of the IoT which is not connected
to the internet. I would say the majority of IoT devices (above 80%) will
never be connected to the public internet nor get the IP address. Most of
the factories, ships, cars, containers, metering devices in municipal
services, professional health devices, you name it - will use private
telemetry networks and IP-like protocols. Based on many analytic papers,
the monetary value of such systems go far beyond "internet of things" in
perception of ordinary people (IP cameras, hope automation, wearable
devices). The risks of attacks to this kind of networks are much higher,
because there are critical infrastructure on stake. It would be nice to
mention this area in the draft.
