HI Judith,
I’m so sorry to read this. David was a kind, generous person who’s passion for the Internet but also the people always were at the front of what he did.
Apart from his engagement in the DC Chapter, he was also instrumental in the creation of the Chapters Advisory Council and his advice, guidance and not least his sense of humour has led many of us along the way.

He will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I am bringing the very sad news that our friend and ISOC D.C.'s Executive Director David Vyorst passed away yesterday. David had been very sick for several months now.

Like many of us, David had a passion for an open and accessible internet and connectivity for all. David's passion will be sorely missed.

Baruch Dayan Ha Emet-- which translates as God is the true judge and is a typical saying said when someone dies. May David's memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all.
