[Chapter-delegates] Passing of David Vyorst

Thanks for letting us all know, Judith, particularly those like myself who remember so well and fondly working with David on any number of issues years ago but who haven't seen him recently. He was always energetic, reasoned and purposeful.  His passing is a loss for our community.  THis is very sad.

I am bringing the very sad news that our friend and ISOC D.C.'s Executive Director David Vyorst passed away yesterday. David had been very sick for several months now.

Like many of us, David had a passion for an open and accessible internet and connectivity for all. David's passion will be sorely missed.

Baruch Dayan Ha Emet-- which translates as God is the true judge and is a typical saying said when someone dies. May David's memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all.

Funeral at Adat Shalom Congregation This Friday December 8th at 11am
