[Chapter-delegates] Celebrating ISOC 25th Anniversary !!

Dear Chapter Leaders,

The Internet Society’s 25th anniversary is a time to celebrate our global community and our collective actions to preserve the open Internet and defend its underlying principles.  To commemorate this milestone, we have many activities underway to look back at our roots, increase our visibility around the world, and look ahead to the future.
We have created several special programs for our Chapters, and we encourage you to join us on this journey as we look to #thenext25.
InterCommunity 2017, 19 September -- Celebration Nodes, https://www.internetsociety.org/25th/chapter-celebration-nodes.
You are invited to host a local “Celebration Node” as part of our InterCommunity 2017 event on 19 September. As our membership meeting moves around the globe for community dialogue on topics from the Internet Futures report, we will also enjoy a time for celebration.

We want you to be part of the celebrations! All chapters are encouraged to organise a local Celebration Node and join InterCommunity as a viewing node.  This is also an ideal time to invite potential new members and promote your Chapter activities. The Internet Society will provide a small amount of funding to help you plan a networking and social event, along with a Celebration Box to add to the festivities.

New Brand Identity Toolkit for Chapters
This year we have a unique opportunity to promote our mission and to build a stronger Internet Society across the globe. In June, we will deliver a set of tools and resources to help you amplify your work for the Internet and to build local and regional relationships.

Thanks to the excellent survey feedback and recommendations we received, the toolkit will include updated templates for PowerPoint, Word, business cards, banners, backdrops, and other items to promote your work and events. New website templates will also available.  All these tools will be available on a website, along with photos, logos, and videos. More details will be shared as the items are ready to use.
