Nominees can decline the nomination by sending an email to chapters-ac-elections at isoc.org<mailto:chapters-ac-elections at isoc.org> stating they do not wish to be a candidate for the Steering Committee elections.

Candidates will have a chance to present themselves on the Chapter Leaders Community on Connect<https://connect.internetsociety.org/communities/community-home?CommunityKey=a87f0d7b-f5f1-40d2-828d-d1261ddaf7fc>. This is an opportunity for you to get to know your candidates but also to ask them questions in the run up of the elections.

The election period will open on the 9th of November 2016 for 9 days and will close on the 18th of November 2016 at 23h59 UTC. The necessary links for election will be shared with your Chapter representatives.
Make sure to let your Chapter Representative know who your preferred candidate is.
