Dear Chapter delegates,

some of you might be aware of the record breaking cyclone that hit Fiji in late-February, an event that was unfortunately seriously under-reported by the media. The extent of destruction there is high, bearing in mind 320km/h (200mph) winds - yes, this is not a typo, it is amongst the biggest storms ever recorded.
I have been in touch with Sala (see below) and many here might know her as she is active in Internet Governance, although recently, she has been understandably busy with the aid and reconstruction efforts. I have asked if there is anything I or the Internet Society community could do to help. Here is her first request (below), after a week evaluating the disaster on the ground.

It would be great if we could show solidarity & help, knowing that our community has extensive experience and expertise in technical matters.

Managed to get a local GIS Specialist - all good
If you can get me in contact with someone who can update Google Earth images more frequently for Fiji at least for this month i would be grateful
