It's one thing to totally disregard the rules of Netiquette… 

It's another thing to send spammy emails to every member...
This is almost like saying we've taken down our web site for construction… 

just my 5c - as a chapter leader I am only interested to hear that you have taken us into account… in a more useful way than before…
