[Chapter-delegates] Internet of Things- One year later

Hi Glenn,

This puts me in mind of a couple of things I've heard in the last day or so.

In yesterdays session with Rapporteur Cannataci he made an analogy with the
car industry - the first 50 years were all about making them go fast, only
when that was solved satisfactorily did the industry turn to safety. He
suggested that, on an accelerated timetable, perhaps, the same applied to
the Internet. We are yet to really reach that point.

Second, Dave Farber's remark this morning at the ISOC DC #netfrag event -
he described IoT as "a blessing on the one hand but an absolute catastrophe
on the other"
.
