[Chapter-delegates] REMINDER: Election to replace regional representative to the Chapters AC Steering Committee

The below message has been shared with the Chapter Delegates to the Chapters AC today on the Connect Community.
Please reach out to your respective delegates to identify your nominee.

NOTE: only the Delegates to the Chapters AC are eligible for nomination to the Steering Committee. Check who they are: https://www.internetsociety.org/form/chapter-representatives

Dear Chapter Delegates,

As you all may know Olga Cavalli has been elected to the ISOC Board of Trustees, and as such she has resigned from her position on the Chapters Advisory Council - Steering Committee.

As the representative of your Chapter to the Chapters Advisory Council, you are invited to vote for her replacement on the Chapters AC Steering Committee.

Olga Cavalli was elected as the LAC representative on the Steering Committee. We will therefore only accept nominations from Chapter Delegates to the Chapters AC from the LAC region.

If your Chapter does not have an appointed Delegate, please contact your Chapter admin and ask him/her to update the Chapter Portal. Should you have questions about how to do this please contact chapter-support at isoc.org

Nominations will be accepted by email on chapters-ac-elections at isoc.org (only on that email address) until Sunday 31 July 23h59 UTC
You can only nominate one candidate.

After the nomination period the candidates will have 1 week to share relevant information (biographies, motivation, previous Committee experience,...) with the Chapter representatives on the Chapters Advisory Council Connect community<https://connect.internetsociety.org/communities/community-home?CommunityKey=2ee50649-4a00-4918-83a5-4c8a9a7c7a4c>, and the Chapter representatives will have the opportunity to ask questions of the nominees.

Elections will open on Wednesday 10 August for 11 days. An email with the necessary link will be sent out.
Election results will be communicated on Wednesday 24 August 2016.
NOTE: Only Chapters Delegates to the AC will receive the election ballot.
