[Chapter-delegates] Upcoming election for replacement of ChAC Steering Committee member

Ah! I though that it was only the LAC Chapters which would elect their replacement member of the AC. Apparently not.
I regret that I was also not aware of any on-list discussion. Apparently balloting has already begun.
However, unless I missed something, the two statements of interest only emerged earlier today in response to Olga's questions. Correct?

PS: BTW I think it would be preferable to elect the AC delegates on a regional basis.
Few, if any, Chapter leaders can establish a global reputation before they have ever exercised a global mandate.
Whereas those who have a reasonable claim for support will have made themselves known within their region.
