Dear Cherkaoui,

many thanks for your questions and please see below my answers:


- How do you see the future development of ISOC chapters?

ISOC and ISOC chapters must work in closer coordination. Each chapter must
become the first point of contact for ISOC for the activities that the
organization will develop.

The recently created Chapters Advisor Committee will play a major role in
this future coordination, as chapters now have a communication vehicle to
address concerns and proposals to the ISOC Board of Trustees.

Yesterday I was invited to the ISOC Board of Trustees Open Forum to present
the activities of our Argentina Chapter. During the forum the ISOC Board of
Trustees expressed willingness to work in coordination with the Chapters
Advisor Council to achieve these goals.

If I am elected as member of the board of Trustees I will do my best to
make this coordination effective and useful for all the chapters.


- Would there be more involvement of the chapters in the Internet future
direction ?

There should be, this is the expectation of our chapter in Argentina and if
I am elected as Board of Trustee member I will work to make this
involvement stronger and in closer coordination with ISOC.


- ISOC could have more visibility on the chapters activities for more
impact on the Internet community ?

ISOC Chapter must become a reliable source of information  for the local
community on Internet policy and Internet technology. To achieve this goal,
it is relevant that ISOC and ISOC chapters work aligned and in closer
coordination.
