[Chapter-delegates] ISOC-NY President Resigns

Agree with Eduardo -- this is not the first time such a discussion is
taking place. Those of us, who have been around for the last 25 years
remember a lot of similar discussions, especially around 2002-2003, and
then around 2005-2006; some may remember more.
The frustration that Eduardo is writing about comes from the fact that
every few years (and every few years, when there are elections, when new
BoT members come for elections?) we spend a lot of time trying to find
the best way for chapters to be used in a more substantive way by ISOC
HQ. I truly believe that chapters are willing and able to contribute
much more than they do today, and of course, all for the success of ISOC
and its mission, and for the global development of Internet, including
providing means and tools for affordable access, advice to governments
to create Internet-friendly policies, etc.
That's what we have been doing since 1995 in Bulgaria.
