Hi Keith
This is just my POV. I have not run it by our board, but I have copied in my chair so that he can contradict me if he so chooses.
I recently met with Raj Singh and Naveed Haq. I was very impressed with them and their desire to assist us and other chapters.
However, I tend to think that Sivasubramanian is correct. I'm not sure that secretarial assistance, website support, membership recruitment etc. could effectively be provided "offshore".
I think some direct financial support to each chapter might be a better alternative.
Cheers

In the Asia Pacific area, for example, it could be possible to add staff to the AP Regional Bureau, who's role is specifically to support chapters in the region. So you could have multiple chapters receiving secretarial and treasury support, website maintenance, membership recruitment, further chapter development etc, and all could have consistency in terms of overarching ISOC principles, strategy etc.
