Hello James and all at Internet Society Ireland, 

welcome and congretulations on behalf of ISOC.nl as well. And may I say that 
the establishment of the chapter is just in time: with the safe harbour just 
blown to bits by the European Court of Justice [1], I expect you all can be of 
assistance to the Irish data regulator in their investigation on how to make 
sure there is adequate data protection for European internet users.

This decision will have a big impact on the sector, and the eyes of the world 
are now on Ireland. If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us 
know!
