Thank you Joly and Faisal on the discussion about Facebooks Internet.org
and Net neutrality.
Sorry about my ignorance but I only learnt about Facebooks Internet.org
last month in New York during a UN Women meeting/presentation. I had the
privilege to represent Papua New Guinea(PNG), Pacific under an exchange
program titled "Women and Entrepreneurship".
After learning about Facebooks Internet.org I am very concerned about the
impact it will have to our local PNG IT startups as I am an IT Entrepreneur
in software development and continue to struggle every day with high
Internet costs and also competition with big players in our industry.
Just like Faisal, I would like to learn more about the issue of net
neutrality and the ISOC statement or policies for protection on this
subject. It's still not clear.
