[Chapter-delegates] [Internet Policy] WSIS + 10 Stakeholder Consultations Informal July 2

Hi,

my contribution is posted in
http://pisanty.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-participation-in-wsis-consultation.html

In general the UN in New York pays less attention than the Geneva-based
parts to non-governmental stakeholders. This process is following a
trajectory that may seem like the one that led to participation in WSIS but
not fast enough and with less waypoints, i.e. instead of numerous PrepComms
over two years it is planned to have only one more physical meeting and has
to reach resolution this December.

Whenever possible ISOC stakeholders can provide for a better result in
interactions with governments that lead to a better-oriented participation
in the Foreign Offices. Also, thought leadership is really important.

Yours,

Alejandro Pisanty
