I've said it more than once before but the AfPIF is likely the single best
event the the Internet Society presents. Interconnection is the lifeblood
of the Internet. It's an organic and dynamic ad hoc process that is little
understood, one might say esoteric. The AfPIF serves to illustrate and
educate on it's arcane secrets.

August, 2015* in Maputo, Mozambique. The event will discuss regional
interconnection dynamics and content issues that are critical components of
transit deficits. As a multi-stakeholder forum, AfPIF will seek to foster
cross-border interconnection opportunities by ensuring that key players —
infrastructure providers, Internet service providers (ISPs), IXPs,
international financial institutions, and policy-makers and regulators are
present at the event.The event is being streamed live via the *Internet
