Dear Chapter Leaders,
Please see Joyce's email below.

The Chapter Advisory Council will initiate operations in the fall of this
year. It is very important that every chapter select a delegate to the
Council and list that delegate on the portal. If you are having trouble
adding your delegate to the portal, please email Joyce.

Notice will be sent out within the next two weeks to solicit nominations (1
per chapter delegate) to serve on the Steering Committee. Online elections
for the Steering Committee will be held approximately two weeks following.
We would like to hold the Steering Committee kick off meeting online from
ICANN Dublin (sometime between October 18 and October 22, 2015).

Dear Chapter Leaders,

It seems that so far only 9 Chapters have indicated their representative on
the Chapter AC.
As a reminder you can add your Chapter AC representative directly from the
Chapter Portal. (https://portal.isoc.org)
Your respective Chapter AMS admin will be able to access the portal and
create a new role under the tab ‘Chapter Administration and then the tab
‘Leaders’. (click Add Chapter Leader and choose Chapter AC representative)

I realise some of you are waiting for your next Board meeting to discuss
this, in which case can you just drop me a note (no need to copy the list)
to let me know when that is planned. This will help us to schedule the
elections for the Council.

Also unless there is any objection, we will post the names of the
Representatives on the ISOC website under the section ‘Chapter Advisory
Council’ so that members also know who is representing their Chapter in the
Council.

It seems some of you had some challenges with the document posted on Box,
so we have added the possibility to add your Chapter AC representative
directly from the Chapter Portal. (https://portal.isoc.org)

Your respective Chapter AMS admin will be able to access the portal and
create a new role under the tab ‘Chapter Administration and then the tab
‘Leaders’. (click Add Chapter Leader and choose Chapter AC representative)

This will also allow each Chapter to update this information when necessary
and will ensure that any new Chapter has the possibility to add their
representative as well.

Please remember you have one representative on the Council per Chapter.
